One of my dearest friends is growing her family! If any of you remember, this sweet lady is a childhood friend that I have reconnected with from across the country. I have visited her several times now, the first time being when I captured her pregnancy with her daughter. This time around, she is expecting a little boy! I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to photograph her belly this time around.
We spent the weekend exchanging silly stories, eating delicious food, and exploring. We decided we needed to do something adventurous for this session, so we Googled places in Massachusetts with some mountain views. We came across Mt. Greylock and wooooow. It was so worth the long drive from their house to get there! The views were breathtaking, the air was cool, and the love I captured was contagious. We drove to the top of the mountain (which is the tallest mountain in Massachusetts, by the way) and walked around. There were mountains and amazing views from every side, and it just kept getting better every time we turned around. I have always been terrified of heights, but this was just beyond worth it and I didn’t flinch for a second because I was so busy going shutter-happy!
We had a bit of a rough time getting the whole family in one photo - and happy - but I was able to snap photos of their love and patience with my camera, and I am eternally blessed to have witnessed it all.
For real, this family is basically my favorite and I love every single visit we make up here. There are always countless memories made when we are here and it is so hard to leave (also, it is just beautiful here). But, we are so grateful and have such full hearts once we are back home. I can’t wait to visit and meet their little guy and do some more exploring. Lord knows I’ll capture every second!
