This isn’t the first time I’ve had the honor of photographing this GORGEOUS family! Aleric and I traveled to Connecticut this past weekend to see our dear friends and meet the “newest” member of their family (we hadn’t been able to travel out that way in 2 years). It was amazing to catch up and explore the downtown area of New Haven.
We spent all Monday morning and afternoon taking outdoor and lifestyle photos—our visits are never complete without a session! They have a property with a generous amount of land, complete with beautiful woods and a little stream. Especially in the fall, it is straight out of a storybook. We wandered through the woods, climbed over tree branches, threw leaves in the stream, and then trekked back inside for some homemade pancakes and an impromptu pillow fight. I couldn’t help but photograph all of the beautiful moments of this incredibly cozy morning!
I say this every time I visit them, but this session is legitimately my favorite session I’ve ever done. I can’t get over the lighting, the smiles, and the coziness of it all. Please enjoy scrolling through some of my ultimate favorite photos from the weekend!
